NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS CAR DEALERSHIP! I bought my car 9 month ago (kia 2005) , and my engine is already knocking! I went to several mechanics and they all came to the same conclusion that my engine is about to blow up because of sludge/gel building in the engine. The condition of the engine is very bad, the gel starts clogging the oil filler hole and this kind of situation happens if you never change oil. The thing is that since I bought this car, I changed oil at the right mileage by professional mechanics, and always took very good care of my car. This problem was actually already there when I bought the car. When I went to Auto Alternatives to complain about it, bringing my oil change receipts AND my mechanic, they did pretend it was my fault! My mechanic explained them how it is not possible that I have created this problem, and that the car has been sold in this condition. First, Tim and Donna, the owner and his wife, cursed very badly (using F**** B**** words) at my friend who came with me in order to explain the problem while my friend was very calm and polite. Then they told my mechanic that he basically does not know anything about engines and that they would not do anything for me. I was really chocked, they definitely took advantage of me. I am a student and fixing my car would cost too much. I did contact the Better Business Bureau, waiting for answers now.
Drove a car and liked it. Wanted to have a little work done as part of deal. Tim was ok with that and we negotiated a price. I told him it sounded good and I would call him back. Called and no answer so I called the office and left 2 msg with his son. I also sent a text to his cell asking for a call back. Finally got up with him and he blamed me for not getting back with him. He then went on to say he was to busy...didn't have time to go get the parts...and the shop was backed up. Then he said he "didn't want to sell the car for that price anyway". Yep - he gave me a price and then backed out of the deal.
Not sure what the issue was. I told him I wanted to buy his car, I was looking at a few others but wanted to deal with him.
Would I recommend them? No, I would not.
