• We feel the need to address the last review because there are some inaccuracies. On the subject of taking dogs outside, we have 21 private outside yards for the dogs to run around and go potty. They get at least 15 minutes each time. We walk them to the yards but feel the dogs would be happier with the freedom to run around than be on a leash during their outside time. We also have K9 grass yards that the dogs can and do go out on. If you have a dog who only likes grass, we will be happy to accomodate. As far as our prices are concerned, they range from $23 per night to $39 depending on what you want. The higher range is for a suite which is equipped with TVs and webcams. These are very competitive prices for the area. We have many extras such as doggy daycare, playtime with staff and cuddle time. We let the customer choose what they want and how much they want to spend. ALL dogs have to be vaccinated for Bordetella, Rabies and Distemper/Parvo. To prevent canine cough, all a boarding facility can do is require the vaccine and keep the place clean, which we do. Bordetella vaccine is similar to a human getting a flu shot. You can help prevent getting the flu, but it doesn't guarantee you won't get it. Canine cough is airborne. We do not allow dogs who are showing canine cough symptoms to stay in our facility. According to our vet, if a dog contracts canine cough, it takes 5-10 days for the symptoms to show up. ALL dogs and cats must be on a flea treatment and flea free to board here. If your pet is on an effective flea preventative, he/she should not be getting fleas from anywhere. In regard to the comment about the dog fight. That was between 2 family dogs who were staying together per the customer's request and we were told that the 2 dogs had no issues with each other. We ask everyone who boards family dogs together when they check in if the dogs are ok with each other to prevent that very thing from happening. • The best kennel we have ever used!!!
• We have 2 dogs, a boxer and choc. lab who are both very energetic! We have been boarding them w/ Suite Paws since they opened! We used to use a kennel closer to our home, but didn't feel they received as much love, space and exercise as they do at Suite Paws, especially for the money! They get excited everytime we pull in the driveway, they are on vacation when we are! It is nice to know they will be well cared for when we are out of town with no worries! It was nice to return from the beach, both dogs were still in daycare, and they asked if we could wait! Our boxer was sitting in the person in daycare's lap and didn't want to get up!! Just like home! We then tried boarding our baby, a himalyian kitten! She had never left the house except for vet visits! When were returned, she was lounging in her "apartment" as happy as could be! They also took her out and played with her as well! All in all, we won't use any other kennel again! Hands down, they are the best! (lcg, 08/28/2009)

• you may leave with kennel cough and fleas, and definitely a lighter wallet
• I boarded my dog with Suite Paws a week ago in an emergency Their web site looks great and even the front office is spacious and nice. However after I asked for a tour... The dogs are not walked as part of the regular fee (which is high!) they are placed in a cement floored cage with a drain outside twice a day until they 'use the restroom' when they are taken back to their kennel. To get your dog walked you have to pay additional fees per walk. The worst part is that although my dog has been vaccinated, she came home with kennel cough and fleas. Please consider other kennels when boarding your animals. As I picked up my dog I passed a woman outside who was waiting to talk to a manager about vet fees for injuries to her dog after it was in a dog fight during the stay. (my advice, 08/13/2009)
